Fixing an HP 14-CE Laptop: No Display Issue
If your HP 14-CE laptop powers on but has no display, don’t worry—this is a common problem with a fix. Recently, I worked on an HP 14-CE where the power light turned on, and fans spun, but the screen remained blank. After trying several steps, the issue turned out to be a couple of poorly soldered RAM terminal pins.
In this particular repair, after thoroughly inspecting the motherboard using a microscope, I noticed that two pins for the RAM weren’t soldered properly. This led to the laptop powering on without displaying anything. Once I re-soldered the pins, the laptop started up perfectly, and the display was restored.
